Aims

  1. To develop creativity, ability to appreciate music and to effectively communicate through music;
  2. To nurture aesthetic sensitivity; and
  3. To gain enjoyment and satisfaction through participating in music activities.

Objectives for the Year

  1. Strengthen students’ learning ownership and unleash learning potential by optimizing teaching and learning pedagogy. 
  2. Open up global perspectives and deepen learning’s meaning by reimagining the curriculum. 
  3. Nurture positive attitudes and let students live a flourishing life through positive education.

Highlighted Activities

Activities held in 2023-24
The Treble Voice Choir performed at HK City Hall on 20th February, 2024 , singing the song “Autumn”. They got the Silver Award in Hong Kong Inter-schools Choral Festival (HKICF).
Performers: Treble Voice Choir (F.1-2, 60 students)

The Boys’ Choir performed at the Academy of Arts on 23rd February, 2024 , singing the song “Joshua fits the battle of Jericho”. They got the Silver Award in Hong Kong Inter-schools Choral Festival (HKICF).
Performers: Boys’ Choir (F.1-5, 30 students)    

The Girls’ Choir performed at Sha Tin Town Hall on 5th February, 2024 , singing the song “Mei Lai Building”. They got the Silver Award in Hong Kong Inter-schools Choral Festival (HKICF).
Performers: Girls’ Choir (F.2-5, 30 students)    

The Mixed Voice Choir performed at Sha Tin Town Hall on 6th February, 2024 , singing the song “Sanctus”. They got the Gold Award in Hong Kong Inter-schools Choral Festival (HKICF).
Performers:  Mixed Voice Choir (F.2-5, 60 students)    

4 students performed at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on 22nd April, 2024, playing the Sonata "La schilina". They got the Silver Award in Joint School Music Competition.
Performers: Recorder Quartet (F.3-5)  

4 students performed at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on 29th April, 2024, playing the piece “Quartet in the Forest”. They got the Gold Award in Joint School Music Competition.
Performers: Woodwind Quartet (F.5)    

4 students performed at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on 6th May, 2024, playing the piece “Merry-Go-Round”. They got the Gold Award in the Joint School Music Competition.
