With the aim to understand the Christian faith and holistic care through acts of services, a missionary trip to Cambodia was organized by The Methodist Church, Hong Kong, and co-organized by Wa Ying College and our school.
Along with the church’s pastoral staff, the church members, dentists, the students and teachers of Wa Ying College, some of our students and teachers joined this meaningful trip, providing services to the locals while gaining insights into the church services and the wealth gap issue of Cambodia.
They host activities for village children by organizing an English class and a crafts workshop, as well as playing games and sharing hymns with them. A memorable service involved assisting a local organization by cooking for street children and providing hair-washing services for street children.
This is not only a trip to serve the local, but also an opportunity to be inspired intellectually and spiritually.
