In an effort to broaden our students' understanding of history and immerse them in the rich cultural tapestry of the Greater Bay Area, our school orchestrated an enriching exchange tour to Macao, the neighboring SAR, from the 9th to the 10th of May 2025. Eighteen students from F.2 to F.3 classes, accompanied by two teachers, embarked on this insightful journey.
During the trip, the group explored various historical landmarks in Macao, including the Chapel of Our Lady of Penha, the Guia Fortress, the Protestant Cemetery, and the Templo de Pou Chai. These experiences allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of the SAR's significant role in bridging Eastern and Western cultures over time.
A standout moment was their trip to Colégio Matteo Ricci (利瑪竇中學), where students delved into the school's history and environment. They mingled with peers, sharing tea and treats, forging connections and making lasting memories. The students returned home enriched with newfound historical knowledge, along with souvenirs and snacks to cherish the experience.
