Heyuan study tour 4th July – 5th July
As part of the Citizenship and Social Development curriculum, a study tour to Heyuan was organized for F.5 students during the post-exam activities on 4th July to 5th July. The focus of the study was on environmental conservation and sustainable development progress in our nation, aligning with the goals outlined in the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) for National Economic and Social Development. The tour aimed to explore the achievements in new energy technologies and water conservation infrastructure.
To investigate hydraulic engineering in Heyuan, our students were assigned various learning tasks while visiting Wanlu Lake Holiday and Tourism Scenic Area, sewage works, and Xinfengjiang Reservoir. Through these activities, students gained firsthand knowledge and insights into the practical aspects of environmental conservation and the significance of sustainable development. Furthermore, they had the opportunity for in-depth reflection on the importance of safeguarding ecological security.
